Hi, I’m Kat - founder of Wine Fairy Events and your personal Wine Fairy.
Meet Kat, the 'Wine Fairy’
Wine Fairy Events was created from a passion for bringing people together through memorable wine experiences.
Originally from Germany, Kat's love for wine, hospitality, and exceptional service began over 20 years ago while completing an Events Management apprenticeship at the Hyatt Regency Mainz.
Since moving to Australia in 2011, she has built a successful career in events, hospitality, and wine, including roles with Audrey Wilkinson, NOAH'S on the Beach, and a range of premium tourism businesses.
Known for her warm personality, extensive wine knowledge, and genuine care for her guests, Kat creates experiences that are fun, relaxed, and tailored to each group.
Whether she's hosting an intimate in-home tasting or guiding guests through the Hunter Valley, her goal is simple: to create unforgettable moments over great wine.
"I love introducing people to hidden gems, sharing the stories behind the wines, and helping guests feel truly looked after.
At the heart of it, it's about creating meaningful experiences, bringing people together, and making lasting memories."
And yes - she'll happily prove that Germans have a great sense of humour too.
