Hi, I’m Kat - founder of Wine Fairy Events and your personal Wine Fairy.
I grew up in the beautiful wine region of Mainz, Germany, where my love for wine first began. Surrounded by vineyards, great food and a culture that celebrates sharing wine around the table, I learned early that wine is about far more than what’s in the glass - it’s about connection, atmosphere and the people you share it with.
With a background in events management and the wine industry, creating Wine Fairy Events felt like a natural extension of my passion. My journey has always been driven by a genuine love for beautiful wine, great food and meaningful moments shared with others.
There’s something truly special about the way wine and food bring people together - creating conversation, connection and memories that linger long after the last glass is poured. That feeling is what I aim to bring to every experience I host.
I love guiding guests on a personalised wine journey, exploring flavours, aromas and stories in a way that feels relaxed, fun and approachable. Every tasting is designed as a discovery - a celebration of the small details that make each wine moment special.

Wine Fairy Events is born out of the desire to bring people together, to experience, and to do so while discovering the wonderful world of wine.

Whether it’s a private tour through the Hunter Valley or an intimate in-home tasting, Kat’s goal is always the same: to create experiences that feel genuine, memorable, and tailored to each guest. “I love showcasing the best of our local producers, introducing people to hidden gems, and helping them feel truly taken care of.
At the heart of it, I just love creating beautiful moments where people can slow down, savour the experience, and walk away with full hearts and happy palates.”
The founder of Wine Fairy Events is Kat who's longstanding passion for quality wine, great food, and excellent customer service began 20 years ago at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Mainz, Germany as an apprentice in Events Management.
When Kat moved to Australia in 2011, she pursued professional roles that allow her to create unique events for
both social and corporate settings.
While employed as the Manager of Audley Dance Hall in the Royal National Park, Kat enjoyed
curating wine lists and organising functions for both small and big groups.
Most recently, Kat has continued her work as Assistant Manager at
the historical Hunter Valley vineyard, Audrey Wilkinson and as Events Coordinator at NOAH’S on the beach.

sense of humour.”
Meet our extraordinary team member, Jaime! Known affectionately as our "beautiful wine fairy," Jaime brings a touch of enchantment to the event.
Jaime’s warm personality and genuine care for our customers make every interaction feel like a magical encounter. She has an innate ability to guide our guests through the vast world of wine, ensuring that each person's preferences and tastes are catered to with grace and charm.
